Bravox speakers (subwoofer Q.)

I got a notification that a company I occasionally buy from is having a blow-out on Bravox rawframe subwoofers. I had never heard of Bravox but read the history and it seems they are high quality. But from what I can gather they are used for car audio. I would like to add a sub-woofer system to our club-gig PA system and the price is literally rock bottom on the offer plus I already have an empty speaker cab. If they are infact car speakers would it matter as long as the ohm rating and power handling is compatible with the power amp I will be using?
Thanks.

Yes it matters.

Speaker boxes are built for drivers particular parameters. I don't see
anything in the line matching typical pa efficiency. PA types need 1/10th
the power Or less.

Oh bummer. Thanks for the info Greg. Not what I was hoping for since the speakers are going for such a good price but appreciated none the less.
