Most of the regulars have stopped posting with the exception of Phil Alison and some others. Lord Valve makes an occasional appearance. I think most folks have gone off to moderated forums where they suffer reduced abuse. Phildo's no-nothingness and abuse coupled with George Gleason's often abusive tirades & superiority complex drove most people off. Phil A. is still a prick, but his technical knowledge is impeccable. I'm sure Arny is lurking out there too.

facebook. George has hired me to work a number of festivals when he
needs someone he can count on. But George recently cancelled a festival
on me 5 days after I bought a non-refundable plane ticket. He promised
to reimburse me.

I still look in periodically, I'm retired now but still keep my hand in.
I never was one of the 'big boys'.
George is a different man since he found love in his life, Phildo has a
nice residency job. I kinda miss Arni in an odd way.

Most of the old guard are on facebook if you look hard enough, most
keep themselves to themselves' Maybe we should form a facebook aapls club ;)

We had fun, but I think usenet has had its day

BTW, I have two Tee-shirts that George gave out for free ... A.A.P.L.S
... Great Men Of Of Audio Science - M.D.S.T. - "Million Dollar Snob
Team" ... Many of these people would bust the asses of anyone who
mentioned Peavey, Mackie or Behringer. George now rents out much Mackie
& Behringer. Go figure .... :-)
