My Deluxe Reverb is rated at 22 watts with it's 8 ohm speaker. I know tube
amps are less "fussy" than solid state amps regarding loads.

What would the wattage be into a 16 ohm load? A 4 ohm load?

Thanks!

** There are about ten Fender amps called "Delux Reverb".

They all have a pair of 6V6 tubes for output.

The model number in on a sheet inside the back of the amp - eg A1172 etc.

** The opposite is true.

** Less in both cases.

With a 4 ohms load, the poor 6V6s will melt.

Remember, a guitar speaker is not a fixed value load - the *nominal" ohmage
only exists at mid frequencies - around 250 to 400Hz.

At low and high frequencies the value is many times higher.
