Post by Rick N. BackerPost by Tom GinkelGot several very nice Celestion Century Neo 12 inch guitar speakers. Quite
spendy.
They are all three 16 ohm and I need 8 ohms. Buy or swap.
Check out the specs

Parts Express is currently blowing out the 8 Ohm version at >$100 for
singles and discounted for multiples.

Given that is 8 Ohm, I would suspect they'd out the door the 16 Ohm
at the same price.
There is a big difference between the original Celestion Century (Made in UK) and
the Celestion Century Vintage (first run was Made in UK and then production move to China).
Anyways -- these are 2 completely different speakers.
The link you gave is for the Century Vintage and not the original Celestion Century.
The Celestion Century is close to what a Celestion Lead 80 would be like (sort of)
And the Celestion Century Vintage is more like what a Vintage 30 would be like (sort of).
The Century is 80 watt speaker and has 102db/watt efficiency.
The Century Vintage is 60 watt speaker and has... ummm.. around 98 db/1 watt efficiency.
And yes - both are neo speakers... and the original Century was $$$$$$$$$$$$
I think they went for around $279 (US) -- they are no longer made and were
discontinued although the Century Vintage is still in production.
