Hi,
I'm currently working on a soundcraft Vi1, and need to sync it to the video-set up used on the job. The manual states it will sync automatically when it is connected to a sync signal. I connected wordclock at the connector, but when I look at the sync screen, it keeps saying Int sync 48 kHz. On the back, the led next to the wordclock connector saying "lock" blinks. How do I make sure it is synced?

You need to connect a Black + Burst or a Composite Video signal
(Genlock) not a Word Clock.

I may have misunderstood your post...

Where are you getting the WC signal from?

Do you have a termination on the loop-through BNC? (Ext Sync Card DIP
switch 1.4 to ON will terminate WC in, default is OFF).

Can you get a Video Sync signal from the video system?
Again put a 75R term on the WC out (OR set Ext Sync Card DIP switch 1.1
to ON).

We're working in HD SDI with tri-level sync. Currently I connected the AES-ref the video guys handed me. I will try Tri-level sync. Thanks.

I tried Tri-level, I tried Blackburst, both with and without termination. Doesn't make a difference. Led next to bnc-connector keeps blinking, but on the screen it stays on internal sync.
