I just spent $125-US for a new flashlight, 2-sets of rechargeable
batteries & a battery recharger. This is the brightest flashlight I ever
owned ... also the most expensive. In the past, my 3-D-Cell Maglite was
my brightest flashlight. That one cost about $36 + batteries.

This one is half as big & half the weight. For a couple decades, my
flashlight of choice was the Mini-Maglite. Then LED technology came into
being & improved greatly. Then I began buying cheap LED flashlights. I
don't know anyone who owns more flashlights than myself. I am lost
without a flashlight.

This one:

is awesome!

I'll bet that SOS mode is a PITA when you one of the other two modes - it
certainly is on the ones that I have :)

And yep, I'm another avid collector of torches.

cheers

I have probably bought at least 8 over the years. Half develop problems,
like the need to bang it. Some of the switches go bad. My favorite one is
currently temporally lost.

Do you need my flashlight to find yours? I own two 'police baton'
Maglites. I own 3 Mini-Maglites. I own about 5 small LED flashlights. I
own an LED headband light. I always carry at least 3 flashlights to my
shows. Only one thing worse than no cigarettes is cigarettes & no light
(pun intended).

I went the other direction - dirt cheap. $10 for a pack of 10 lights, with
30 AAA bateries included. There's one stuffed in the back of each rack, one
in each gig bag, the tool box, the glove box, etc. It's like an easter egg
hunt!

Yeah, but my new flashlight can be used as a follow spot. NO $HIT!
I am truly amazed at how much LED technology has improved. You cannot
look directly into my new flashlight.

i had two D cell maglites disappear out of my house. found just the back
battery covers. Nobody knew nothing. Come to find out that kids
are making pot pipes out of them. My son claims he knows nothing.
I know better. Been there, done that.
